Youthful Adventures: Granny, Fix It, and the Ball

It's a beautiful day, and the park is filled with the laughter of children engaged in various activities—basketball, football, bikes, and skateboarding. Happiness fills the air.

Look over there! Granny Fix It is talking to a boy with a ball named Paul. "Hello, I'm Granny Fix It. What's your name?" Paul kicks the ball, and, oops, it's stuck in a tree. Lunchtime arrives, and the ball is left behind. "Oh, my ball. I'm hungry. Let's go."

Now the park is quiet, or is it? Granny Fix It is having a conversation with the ball, which isn't happy. "Help! I don't like this." Granny Fix It wants to assist the ball and reaches into her small yellow bag. What's in there? A long ladder! Granny Fix It rescues the ball, placing it on her head. But the ball still isn't happy. "Oh, I don't like this. Be quiet, don't worry." Granny Fix It tucks the ball under the tree and goes to sleep. Now the ball is happy. "Thank you, Granny Fix It."

Uh-oh, now a dog has the ball, and Granny thinks it isn't happy.
